FYIndOut is a social business platform that allows owners and professionals in Small to Midsize Businesses (SMBs) to find, share, and promote information for business just as we do in our consumer lives.  It’s been built from the ground up to improve the efficiency of connecting those looking for business information, applications, and services to the people that provide them.

 

Through FYIndOut, professionals can search for information, applications, or services that their business needs and share ratings and reviews of applications and services they’ve used with others.  They can also learn more about solution providers by reading their content and following them, without worrying about being contacted  until they reach out to the solution providers directly via their short list.

 

Solution Providers using FYIndOut have the ability to reach new prospects and gain qualified leads based on their quality and word-of-mouth, instead of relying on their marketing budget. By listing their solutions, adding referrals and reviews from key customers, and providing thought leadership content such as white papers, case studies, presentations, and videos, solution providers can automatically increase their brand awareness.

There’s nothing in our consumer lives that we can’t find and share reviews or customer experiences for, however when it comes to finding applications and services for a business, that all just stops. Historically, solution providers have been the gate keepers of information about their products or services.  Over 98% of business is comprised of small businesses, yet most research reports and data are geared towards large enterprises, and many charge solution providers to be included at rates most SMBs cannot afford. 

 

As buyers, we understand how difficult it is to find what solution providers are out there; much less find the ones that are right for your business.  At FYIndOut, we believe that professionals should be able to share ratings and reviews of applications and services for their business just as we have for years in our consumer lives. 

 

As solution providers, we also know the challenges of educating prospective buyers on what really matters and the challenges of trying to sell a quality product or service in a market where a few players have large advertising dollars and recognized brands.  We built FYIndOut with the goal of allowing the solution providers with the best quality solutions and most helpful information to compete on the same playing field as those with the biggest marketing budgets.

 

Who
Scott and Tony (the founders) are experienced professionals that have been on both the buying and selling side of business-to-business services and applications and believe that there’s major room for improvement.
